News October 2007:
After a short trip to Moscow, where we played a great show with Subway
To Sally, we´re back in Germany and do the final rehearsels for
our upcoming tour. I will add some pictures from that two days in Russia
onto the gallery ba time. There are some more interesting news for you:
It´s done... and even twice at all!!!
Today, October 19th, the new Subway To Sally Record "Bastard"
was released! It contains many Songs which I´ve written or in which
I was involved creatively. The Record has earned amazing reviews in the
press and internet, here are some examples. METAL HAMMER Record
Of The Month (6 of 7 points), Roch Hard (9,5 of 10 points), Orkus (10
of 10 points), Metal.de (10 of 10 points) and many more...

... and there are also good news regarding SIVLERLANE. The Recordings
for the next Album "My Inner Demon" are finished and we hope to publish

Next week we´re gonna start our Subway To Sally- Bastard- Tour through
Germay, Switzerland and Austria. I hope to see some of you there!
At least I´ve got a few words regarding the homepage. After guestbook.de
decided to delete all of their guestbooks, I had to choose a new one.
I will also create a new picture gallery which will be much easier to
update for me. So I can finally put all the pictures you sent to me during
the last months online.

STS entering Horus Studio, Simon Michael now playing PEARL Drums and Hardware
Hello again :-)
Today is a really lovely day in Potsdam and I took some time to date up my homepage. I got some news for you:
Subway To Sally started recording their new Album (Release in Autumn) at the Horus Sound Studios Hannover. We entered the studio for the recording the backing tracks of the first new songs and we will carry on right after our "Nackt"- Tour in April.
More hot news: I will play Pearl Drums and Hardware exclusively in the future! I chose a Masters Custom BRX (a birch- shell kit) and a Reference Steel Snare Drum. The sound and the quality of Pearl is really outstanding so I´m really happy to get supported by them and I really enjoy working with my new equipment. Just take a look at the equipment section for more details!

Hi to all! I hope you enjoy the new desing and especially the new features on simon-m.com. First of all I dated the whole page up. This means I renewed the setctions biography, equipment, projects, imprint and links. You´re gonna find always the latest tourdates by clicking into the tour- section.
Completely new is the mediasection which contains four picturegallerys, interviews, a downloadpage with mp3s of ALL of my bands and a downloadpage that offers you videodownloads. I´m gonna do an update of the mediasection each time I get new material. I promise! At the moment there are only four vids online from a soloperformance I did in May 2006, but there are a lot of new videos to come featuring live and backstagefootage from the last Subway To Sally tour! So it might be worthwile for you to take a look on simon-m.com continous. I´m also planing to put some exercise-stuff for drummers onto this page in the future.
So, that´s what´s new about the page, but what happened during the last months... well we did a five weeks- lasting acoustic tour in spring of this year. I added some pics from that in the "live" and "your pics"- gallery. We finally recorded the last show in Berlin to release it as a DVD and Live CD in autumn. We had a lot of fun on this, in a way, relaxed tour and I was always walking around with a camcorder shooting backstage material. I hope to be able to load up some scenes out of that in the future on this page. At the moment we´re playing festivals with our "Nord Nord Ost" show again and start to plan the next record....
My brother and I finished the biggest part of our new studio at home in Forchheim. I already enjoy working there each day, you can find some pics at the "private" gallery. Right now, I´m working on new material for a new project... I don´t know when I´ll be able to publish the first songs or even the band´s name, but I hope very soon.
In July I´m gonna play a single show with "Phyxe" again and in October Silverlane is confirmed for two shows- one at my hometown Forchheim and another one at Ubstadt- Weiher (Karlsruhe).
I´m really busy at the moment so I better stop writing and start working again ;-)
